Principal
Dr Chipenyu obtained PhD with Missiology from North-West University, South Africa. He studied MDiv at Kosin University South Korea. Before studying Theology, he studied Education. He has three qualifications in Education where he taught for seventeen years. Certificate in Education–University of Zimbabwe, Bachelor of Education Management –Pretoria Technikon, Master of Philosophy–Curriculum Studies from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. Dr Chipenyu is a teaching Missionary for Southern Africa with Timothy Two Project International. He has taught pastors in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Botswana. He worked with Korean Maritime Mission where he was a preacher to seafarers. His area of expertise are Missiology, Systematic Theology, and Missions and Evangelism. He facilitates for the BTh and BTh. honours for Northwest Students in King Williams Town.
Dr Chipenyu is married to Pepertua and they are blessed with two daughters and two sons.
Vice Principal
Studied BMS and AMS with Dumisani Theological Institute and further obtained Bachelor of Theology degree with the North-West University. He is an ordained Minister of the Word with the Free Church in Southern Africa, Dewar District (Alice). Has been ministering since 2013. He is the Senior Clerk (Secretary General) of the Free Church in Southern Africa.
Rev Magodla is married to Tabisa Magodla, and they are blessed with two sons and two daughters.
He teaches courses related to church administration and church leadership.
Academic Dean
She studied double major in Sociology and Social Anthropology degree at National University of Lesotho, she continued to do Events Management course with University of Cape Town via get smarter platform, she is still studying Master of Divinity in Theology, she has been coordinating different projects and events, she also served as a teacher for 4 years, missionary serving in southern African in teaching and training people on Leadership, teambuilding, biblical courses for 11years. She is a mother of two (Girl and Boy).
Front Desk Support
Hombakazi Tshandu is the longest serving member at Dumisani Theological Institute and Bible School. She is a holder of a diploma in Business Studies with the Buffalo City (FET), King William’s Town. She is a mother of one daughter. Hombakazi is a full member of the Free Church in Southern Africa.
Lecturer
Rev Tembani Zani studied for the Bachelor of Theology Honours with the Baptist Theological Seminary. Before studying theology, Rev Zani has been a schoolteacher for fifteen years. He had studied for a Diploma in Education with Johannesburg College of Education, He has a certificate in Psychological Trauma and Conflict Management skills from the Department of Education Ilitha Training Centre. Rev Zani Rev Zani was the founder and director of the Children Ministry in the Boarder Baptist Association. He is the director of the Scripture examination in the Baptist Union.
He is a senior Pastor at Ginsberg Bethel Baptist church.
Rev Zani Teaches Children ministry and is an expert therein.
Rev Zani is married, and the family is blessed with two children, and they also have three adopted children.
Lecturer
Rev Stephen Choi studied for Master of Divinity with Korea Theological Seminary. He also has Theology Masters in Missiology from the same Seminary. Rev Choi served as a missionary in Lesotho where he worked with rural churches before moving to South Africa. He is a Missionary for the Kosin denomination–Korea. He has a passion of helping churches in villages. Pastor Choi is also into establishing house churches to encourage members to evangelise their neighbours. He lectured to Mukhanyo’s distance students before joining Dumisani Theological Institute and Bible School.
Pastor Choi teaches Mission and Theology proprammes.
Visiting Lecturer
Rev Kyle Barrow doubles as a member of the Board of Directors and visiting lecturer. He completed a Bachelor of Science with Stellenbosch University before completing a Bachelor of Theology undergraduate and Bachelor of Theology Honours at George Whitefield College in Muizenberg. He is a disciple of Jesus who grew up in a Christian family and committed his life to the Lord at a young age. He is married to Jenna and are blessed with three kids, Jedidiah (age 10), Jessica (age 8) and Rebecca (age 5). Hin and his wife moved to Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) in 2011 where he first pastored at Word of Life student church for three years, before being called to serve as Rector of REACH Summerstrand (also in Port Elizabeth) which is Part of the Reformed Evangelical Anglican Church of South Africa (REACHSA), where he is still serving.
Rev Barrow teaches the Pentateuch to the Advanced ministry Students.
Visiting Lecturer
Rev Johannes Aucamp studied Bachelor of Theology, Hounours, and Master of Divinity with the North-West University Potchefstroom. He pastored in Pretoria in the Reformed Churches in South Africa before he became a teaching missionary with the same denomination. He is a missionary for Teaching Pastors in Africa (Topia). He teaches pastors in Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Malawi, Zambia, and South Africa. He also teaches at Covenant College in Zambia, Back to the Bible College in Mpumalanga as a visiting lecturer as well. Rev Aucamp is passionate for teaching pastors formally and informally.
He teaches a variety of courses in addition to Worldview and Servanthood courses.
Rev Johannes is married and have been blessed with one son and two daughters.
